Syncing your Slack status allows colleagues to see whether you're working from home or you're away or in the office on any given day without visiting the Officely app.
Once enabled, our status sync will add an emoji to your status showing your working location.
The office admin chooses the emoji when setting up a new office. You can have different emojis for different offices to make it easier to differentiate between locations.
How to Sync Your Slack Status with Officely
To sync your Slack status, head to the Officely app and follow the steps below.
1. Head to Officely App Home > Go to... > All settings
2. Scroll down to Integrations, the top one should read Slack Status.
3. Click the Sync Status button to the right, and you will be taken to an authorization page by Slack in your browser. Then click on allow.
4. Click Allow, and return to Slack! Your status will now sync automatically.
